Entrepreneurs from the Leningrad region intend to begin in the very near future the cultivation and processing of Pacific shrimp in the suburbs of the Northern capital.
We are talking about Sergey Belkov and his like-minded and business partner Kirill Kirillov. Both entrepreneurs came to the conclusion that an investment of 350 million rubles will allow them to jointly establish not only the production of exotic shrimp, but also provide an opportunity to open a network of cafeterias, the menu of which will focus on seafood.
Of course, dishes in the bistro network will be prepared from those seafood that will be supplied by Belkov and Kirillov production workshops. Entrepreneurs also intend to sell not only prepared dishes from shrimp and other crustaceans, but also fresh crayfish, lobsters, lobsters, etc.
It is noted that more than one hundred thousand fry of shrimp, which will arrive in the Leningrad region from the Thai coast of the Pacific Ocean, will settle in the suburbs of St. Petersburg on April 25, 2019. This type of shrimp is called Vannamei and is distinguished by its excellent taste, impressive mass and high protein content.
The new residence of Thai shrimp will now be in the village of them. Telmanova, on the basis of the aquatic farm "Northern Shrimp". Over the course of the month, shrimp youngsters will go through a period of acclimatization, during which they will be fed plankton from salt lakes and shallow waters.
In the future, shrimp accustomed to new housing conditions will switch to a special feed. It is noteworthy that in addition to shrimp, blue Australian crayfish, as well as sea cucumbers and unique asparagus, will also be grown at the aquatic farm.
Entrepreneurs intend to get the first shrimp crop for sale very soon - in the middle of summer 2019. Kirillov and Belkov are building far-reaching plans in which their company will produce more than three dozen tons of shrimp by the end of this year. Every year, businessmen intend to launch about 100 tons of crustaceans on the market and double their output in a few years.
