In the village of Skoryki, Ternopil Oblast, on the territory of the Ukraine farm, there is a fruit garden, the infrastructure of which corresponds to the best European models.
The first garden plot was laid back in 2011. Then this project did not raise much commercial hope, and, as noted by the founder of the enterprise Oleg Krizhovachuk, they began to deal with it for the soul.
In addition, the first seedlings were of domestic origin, and their fruits, as it turned out, did not meet the requirements of the market at all. Therefore, to achieve at least some profitability from horticulture, the management of the farm began radical changes, completely modernizing the garden. New seedlings, technological equipment were purchased and a modern fruit storage was built.
Today, the Ukraine Garden is a high-intensity production of 200 ha. apples, pears, raspberries and currants. The modern weather station of the Austrian company Pessl Instruments operates on the territory of the garden, which makes it possible to successfully plan working hours and greatly simplifies the work for the agronomic sector.
The entire area under the stands is equipped with a drip irrigation system and a water intake with a productive capacity of 4.5 thousand m³ of water. Tractor equipment of Kubota, Landini, Lochmann companies works in the garden.
And since 2015, a modern fruit storage has been operating here with a sorting line and a shock freezing line.
