The Kulindorovsky bakery plant (Odessa), which is part of the State Reserve, opened the reception of barley and wheat from the 2019 harvest.
For five days of receiving grain to the elevator of the enterprise, over 7 thousand tons of grain were deposited, the State Reserve said.
If these harvesting rates are maintained until mid-July, more than 50 thousand can be accepted for storage. Now the elevator has been transferred to work around the clock, which avoids creating queues for unloading a car, the number of which reaches more than 100 units per day.
The State Reserve press service reports that all agricultural enterprises that are part of it are fully prepared to accept the harvest of the 2019-2020 marketing year. In the very near future, a procedure will be announced for the purchase of grain this year.
Earlier it was reported that, according to experts, in the current marketing year, Ukraine can harvest a record crop of grain and oilseeds at the level of 94 million tons, which, in turn, will increase the volume of export deliveries to 56.9 million tons.
President of the Ukrainian Grain Association Mykola Gorbachev is of the opinion that until 2022, the yield of oilseeds and grain crops in the country may be higher than 100 million tons.
