Authorized representatives of the People’s Republic of China officially agreed to import into the territory of their country such a product from the Russian Federation as barley.

It is important to add that manufacturers from only seven business entities of the Russian Federation received permission.

And in this case we are talking about suppliers of Chelyabinsk, Amur, Novosibirsk, Altai, Krasnoyarsk and Omsk products. After all, Chinese experts only described barley from these regions as “free from fungal infections”.

It is noteworthy that from the above areas, China is ready to accept not only barley, but also wheat. Such information was shared with the public by representatives of the Main Directorate for Customs Services of the People's Republic of China.

The department also hastened to note that grain from the permitted regions of the Russian Federation should be used at Chinese enterprises solely for the purpose of internal processing, without access to the foreign market.

An agreement on the first deliveries of these products from Russia to the Chinese market was signed between representatives of the PRC customs and experts of the Federal Agency for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Control of the Russian Federation.
