In a tributary of the Seversky Donets near Kharkov, the bodies of dead chickens were discovered. Information about this appeared on the social network Facebook.
According to an eyewitness Roman Romensky, an ecological disaster occurred in the Khotomlya River. In her waters, someone threw bags of dead chickens from a bridge.
In the place where the corpses of hens were found, there is a strong stench. The river carries packets down to the Kulakovsky Bay of the Pechenegsky reservoir of the Seversky Donets River.
The object was localized by representatives of local authorities, namely the head of UTO and deputies. According to Roman Romensky, from visiting local beaches and fishing downstream, it’s still necessary to refrain, and it’s also better to monitor the messages in the media regarding quarantine.
In the waters of the Khotomlya River, approximately 150 packages with bird bodies were identified. Samples went to a laboratory study. Data on this case are recorded in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 1 of Art. 239 (“pollution or land damage”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
This offense provides for a fine of up to 200 tax-free minimum incomes of citizens or deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years, officials of the regional police department said.
