Raising rabbits in Ukraine is mainly carried out by the population. On an industrial scale, animals are raised on two rabbit farms near Cherkasy, Uman District State Administration shares information.

What should be the crawl farm of the third millennium can be seen in the example of the Krolikoff company from the village of Ivanki, Mankovsky district, Cherkasy region. In 2010, the organization’s management bought the production facilities of Anmax LLC, where a meat rabbit farm was created.

Today this enterprise has no analogues in Ukraine. French technology and European equipment are used here, and the enterprise itself has a closed cycle and is non-waste. The animal welfare system is computerized. The rooms maintain an optimal microclimate, water and food are served automatically.Another rabble farm in Cherkasy region is spread on the lands of the village of Yurkovka, in the Uman district. This powerful production not only professionally grows rabbits, but also independently provides itself with feed, as well as processes products and sells them under the trademark “Our rabbit”.

For information, the consumption of rabbit meat in Ukraine is 0.75 kg per capita, while in the world there are 2 kg per person.
