Specialists of the Main Directorate of the State Food and Beverage Service in the Kherson region and representatives of state hospitals of veterinary medicine with specialists from local authorities and residents of the UTO of Kherson region agreed on joint actions to implement the epizootic well-being of the region.
In order to prevent further deterioration of the epizootic situation in the region in January-March 2019, the budgets of the Verkhnerogachitsky district council, Mirnensky village council of UTO Kalanchatsky district and Novokakhovsky city council of Kherson region allocated UAH 128,478.00.
At the expense of budget money, biological preparations, fuels and lubricants, materials for equipping disinfection barriers and posts were purchased.Also equipment for disinfection, a trailer for cars and overalls (disposable antiplague suits, rubber gloves, disposable shoe covers, work suits, rubber boots).
As a result of the implementation of antiepizootic measures, the Kherson region is today considered to be free from acute infectious diseases of birds and mammals, including such dangerous diseases as tuberculosis, cattle leukemia and African swine fever (ASF).
