This summer, a unique agricultural event will unfold on the territory of the city of Kazan: a public garden project will be launched in the city center, which invites young residents of the capital of Tatarstan and their parents to join in farming and working outdoors.

Caring for plants, growing various fruit and vegetable crops, and harvesting personally grown crops with your own hands is both a pleasant and a useful task, the project organizers are convinced.

It is known that the initiators of the public garden relied on the experience of European countries, where such city beds have long been very popular among eco-conscious citizens.

It is reported that the residents of Kazan will be able to plant any crops in the area assigned to them. For their activity, young gardeners and their adult assistants will be able to get sweets and drinks from the project volunteers, as well as become holders of discount cards for the purchase and rental of equipment for active summer holidays.

It is noteworthy that the city garden has been operating in Kazan for several years. And if in 2018 its territory did not exceed 65 square meters, then in the very next few days the organizers expand the area of ​​public beds to 105 squares.

In the neighborhood of the public garden, there is the eco-center “Dom”, on the basis of which lectures will be held on the latest gardening, as well as seminars and master classes for young and adult gardeners.
