The other day, information was released that by the end of this year, 2019, about three hundred tons of high-quality mutton produced by the forces of Kalmyk meat processing enterprises would enter the Iranian market.
Such information was shared by representatives of the public relations department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In addition, the department was quick to emphasize that the first batch of mutton from the Republic of Kalmykia, the volume of which is twelve tons, has already gone to Iranian buyers. Transportation is carried out in accordance with all sanitary quality requirements of both exporters and importers.
It will not be superfluous to note that cooperation between the Russian Republic and Iran is carried out as part of a program to increase the rate of external shipments of agricultural goods, which is part of the International Cooperation and Export project.
It is also important to add that the second batch of chilled mutton, the volume of which will also amount to twelve tons, will be sent to Iran in the very near future - the formation of the next supply is ongoing today.
