The Hung Yen Provincial People’s Committee has developed an electronic information system for tracking agricultural, forestry and fish products to ensure food safety.
Hung Yen orange products are marked with traceability with transparent information about products, enterprises and production facilities.
According to the project, by 2025, Hung Yen has more than 200 food and trade enterprises participating in the system. It includes about 30 certified OCOP product lists; certification of VietGAP, VietGAHP and GAP standards for about 70 organizations and individuals involved in crop production, animal husbandry and aquaculture; support in maintaining and expanding VietGAP, VietGAHP and GAP certificates for more than 150 institutions.
Agricultural products occupy a prominent place in Vietnamese exports and national budget revenues - about 70% of the crop is sold abroad.
Food manufacturing and trading enterprises participating in the Scheme:
- receive stamps and belts for product identification;
- supporting food outlets in the province;
- support for 100% car rental financing;
- support for 50% of Internet subscribers for industrial and commercial institutions;
- Support 100% of communication costs to promote products.
Formation of more than 200 chain models for the safe production of agricultural, forest and aquatic food. In particular, quality control and inspection of about 400 product samples and about 2 million traceable brands were attached to the products before they were distributed on the market.
