Experts from Roskachestvo shared with the public their thoughts regarding which products should be used to prepare the most delicious okroshka.
The department’s specialists took the classic recipe for the most popular summer cold soup among Russians and noted that the most delicious and healthy okroshka is obtained from vegetables grown in the area where the consumer lives, without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
As an additive to vegetables, experts recommend using natural dairy and meat products of organic origin. All this can easily be found on the shelves of farmers markets and most certified stores in the Russian Federation.
In particular, for those who want to cook excellent okroshka, one liter of kvass (not sweet but sour) will need: two chicken eggs, about four hundred grams of boiled chicken meat, two hundred grams of cauliflower boiled in salted water, small bundles of radish and greens, three boiled potatoes as well as salt and pepper to taste.
As a dressing in Roskachestvo, it is recommended to use high-quality kefir, sour cream from organic milk jugs or Ayran. It is noteworthy that vegetables, meat and boiled eggs are best cut into medium-sized straws or cubes of the same size.
At the same time, the Roskachestvo recommends to beware of buying ingredients for okroshka from dubious distributors who do not have certificates of product quality and their compliance with the sanitary requirements of the Russian Federation.
