The chairmen of village councils of several villages of the Kherson region are going to sue Petro Poroshenko because he signed a decree on the creation of the Kamenskaya Sich National Park, which will absorb thousands of hectares of land of territorial communities.
The text of the document says that the Kamenskaya Sech NPP includes 12,261.14 hectares of state-owned lands, 6013,241 hectares are given to the national park for permanent use with extraction from land users and another 6,247.899 hectares - without withdrawal from land users, the statement said. .
The Novorayisk village council decided to ask for help from deputies of the Berislavsky district and Kherson regional councils. If help is not received, the residents of Novoraysky promise to file a lawsuit against the president. This was stated during an information meeting in Novoraysk, which took place on April 18 this year.The decree of the President of Ukraine on the creation of the National Park to the detriment of OTG residents caused anger among people. They are not opposed to creating a park as such and approve of the idea. The indignation of the people caused the very order of its creation, since the villagers were not notified of this. Nobody came to the village and told about the planned actions, said the head of the local OTG, Alexander Shokurov.
According to him, the Milovsky and Kachkarovsky village councils also plan to seek justice in court. Novokaira village council intends to support neighbors in the struggle for land. Alexander Shokurov says that the inhabitants of the above villages are serious.If they are not heeded, they will be forced to appeal the presidential decree in court. Shokurov himself plans to visit a law firm in the near future to consult on this burning issue.
