Sevastopol, which is already famous for its vast vineyards with a total area of four and a half thousand hectares, “gained weight” - now another 158 hectares of vineyards will appear in the city and its environs.
“Today, large-scale young vineyards are located in the city itself and in the territories adjacent to it, which occupy an area of 847 hectares,” they shared in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. “However, grape growing and processing, as well as winemaking and other related industries are so promising and profitable that it was decided to expand the territory occupied by grape growing.”
