In the period from January 1 to July 1, 2019, 5.8 percent more milk was produced in the Republic of Udmurtia than in the same period in 2018.
As a result, in the first half of this year, Udmurt producers put on the market more than three hundred and eighty-three thousand tons of raw milk. And this is twenty one thousand tons more than a year earlier.
It is important to emphasize that farm employees have achieved much more impressive successes in milk production than representatives of large agricultural enterprises: the ratio of productivity growth for the first six months of this year is twelve percent compared to five and a half, respectively.
It is also indicative that the leadership of dairy production in the vast Republic of Udmurtia for a long time is held by the milkmen of the Vavozhsky district, who during the reporting period were able to launch more than three thousand tons of milk on the market.
This area is a leader both in the sale of milk and in the supply of raw materials to milk processing enterprises.
