On the territory of the Russian Federation, the harvesting campaign in the fields with cereals is taking place in a good mode. This is the opinion of the country's prime minister, Dmitry Medvedev.
The head of the Russian government also emphasized that, for example, in the vast expanses of the Krasnodar Territory, grain harvesting is demonstrating a good pace.
To date, local farmers have managed to collect seven hundred thousand tons more grain than by the same date last year, 2018. According to Medvedev, the average yield from the Kuban fields at the moment is about sixty one centners per hectare.
The Head of the Cabinet of Ministers shared such information at a meeting that was dedicated to stimulating the pace of Russian agricultural exports.
It is noteworthy that Dmitry Medvedev also praised the participants in the harvesting campaign of the Kursk region, noting that even in adverse weather conditions they continue to demonstrate high harvest rates.
“Our country is included in the leader list of grain exporting countries, and this is very important for all of us,” the prime minister addressed the farmers and wished to increase the pace of production in the most affordable way.
