In just a year, the implementation of a unique project will begin on the territory of the Crimean peninsula, which will bring local agriculture to a qualitatively new level.
The fact is that in 2020 the first installation will start operating in the republic, which produces water from the air for irrigation of local gardens and fields.
It is reported that this installation was developed by leading experts of the All-Russian Institute, whose profile is focused on machine developments for various sectors of the agricultural sector.
It is known that the capacity of new equipment at first will not be as impressive as local farmers would like. However, even a thousand liters per day will be enough to reduce the shortage of water for irrigation that the peninsula has experienced over the past five years due to the deprivation of access to water from the Dnieper River.
The installation will be placed on an experimental site in the village of Foros, which is supervised by employees of the Crimean Federal Institute named after Vernadsky.
According to experts, the installation will produce water through the release of moisture from atmospheric air. This process does not require electricity, which increases the efficiency of the method of water production, emphasizes Sergey Dorzhiev, head of the scientific laboratory of the All-Russian Institute of Agricultural Mechanization.
