The Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation the other day carried out telephone negotiations with a colleague from Saudi Arabia.
The interlocutor of Dmitry Patrushev was Abdurahman Al-Fadli - the head of the Ministry of the Environment, Water and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia.
As part of the conversation, the colleagues discussed the features of the joint work of the states that they represent in matters of mutual trade in agricultural products and farming.
The nuances of a mutually beneficial partnership are an important part of trade relations between the Russian Federation and Saudi Arabia, which are pleased with their joint foreign economic activity.
And in this case, it will not be out of place to note that almost half of the total goods turnover between the two states is the products of the agro-industrial complex. Both sides do not intend to stop there. Therefore, in the near future there will be an intensive increase in the pace of export of Russian agricultural products to the Arab market.
In particular, buyers of Saudi Arabia are already preparing to receive meat, vegetable oils, grain and other goods produced by Russian farmers. As part of a telephone conversation, Patrushev and Al-Fadli came to the conclusion that both parties place particular emphasis on the export of poultry meat from Russia to CA outlets.
