An unusually large hail fell in the village of Antonovka in the Rivne region, which damaged the crops and perennial plantings of local residents. According to the peasants, the hailstones were the size of a chicken egg, and some of them weighed 35 g.
Old-timers noted that they had never seen such a city in Antonovka. Vegetables and fruit trees were affected - a large hail knocked apples from the trees, smashed the greenhouses and vegetables that were grown in them.
The Association of Farmers in the Rivne region reported that the elements raged only in one of the villages of the region and only hurt the peasants, the farmland was not affected by the hail.
Earlier it was reported that this year the weather brought many unpleasant surprises to Ukrainian farmers. Heavy rainfall in some parts of the country with hailstorms occurred, while other regions suffered from protracted droughts.
All this could not but reduce the yield of cultivated plants. The flood in Transcarpathia flooded the greenhouses and household plots of farmers. Soaked berries and vegetables could no longer withstand transportation. Therefore, they were sold locally at low prices.
And farmers from the village of Borzhavskoye, Vinogradovsky district, Transcarpathian region, went to work in large numbers to European countries to restore greenhouses after the flood and compensate for crop losses.
