The construction of a unique pig breeding and processing enterprise in the Kurgan region is now included in the list of priority desires of representatives of the Norwegian holding RBPI Group.
In an effort to build and commission a large-scale pig-breeding complex in Russia, the Norwegians have already expressed their intentions to Vadim Shumkov, who today is temporarily acting as head of the Kurgan regional administration.
Thomas Norgaard, who heads the Norwegian representative office of RBPI, shared his thoughts on the pig enterprise with Shumkov.
During the negotiations, both sides came to the conclusion that Norway’s large investments in the agro-industrial complex of the Kurgan region could turn into a mutually beneficial enterprise. Foreign investments can serve as an additional impetus to the growth of the region's economy.
Shumkov emphasized that the Norwegians offer transparent and understandable conditions for cooperation, which involves the introduction of high technologies and competent pig breeding specialists in Russia.
In addition, if the RBPI Group builds a pig-breeding complex in the Kurgan region, this will allow several hundreds of residents of the region to get work, official employment and high wages.
